· Review the current Sharepoint 2007 environment
· Design and plan the new Sharepoint 2010 environment.
· Work with OTT technicians on configuring Sharepoint 2010 on new
servers
· Recommend and use migration tools
· Migrate OMB sites to new servers
· Ensure knowledge transfer with OTT technicians on migrations
*Skills: *
· Ability to assess existing SharePoint MOSS 2007 structure and
existing department organizational structure and recommend technically sound
site hierarchy for SharePoint 2010.
· Able to describe and advise on the use of the six areas of
SharePoint 2010 (sites, communities, content, search, insights, and
composite applications) in the basic design of the portal and sites.
· Able to advise on governance and support of the entire
architecture.
