*Direct Client REQ: “Sr BO/BI Developer” in Harrisburg, PA for 8 Months*
*Description: *
The Senior BI developer will perform a lead role in delivering BI
components for a transportation data warehouse using *Business Objects
XI*technologies and
*Oracle 10g*. The candidate will perform all phases of the SDLC. The
position requires advanced problem solving skills to build and maintain
complex analytical BI components, encompassing both Business Objects
artifacts and Oracle data/SQL. The candidate needs a thorough understanding
of data warehousing concepts. Core technologies to be leveraged are
Business Objects XI Web Intelligence, Universes, Xcelsius Dashboards, and
Crystal Reports 2008 as well as Oracle 10g/11g.
*Specific Duties: *
· Develop BI components using the Business Objects technology
stack, including Web Intelligence Reports, Universes, Xcelsius Dashboards,
and Crystal Reports.
· Meet with end users and technical staff to gather BI requirements
· Provide leadership and support to other BI developers
· Develop complex Oracle analytical queries, views, and PL/SQL
procedures and functions. Additionally, MS SQL Server and DB2 querying may
be required.
· Diagnose, analyze, troubleshoot and choose appropriate solution
to fix BI component and data related issues.
