Direct In person interviews. *Job Description* The primary responsibility of this position is user experience (UX) design This includes web projects for multiple subsites of the client website. This person in this position will work closely with multiple departments and agencies . *Work activities* • Work with business analysts to conduct user research, including focus groups, vision and brainstorming exercises, comparative and competitive analysis, and design review sessions • Complete user research documentation including user stories, user scenarios, personas • Create wireframes and storyboards for web components, websites, and web applications • Create low fidelity prototypes of web components, websites, and web applications • Create functional prototypes of web components, websites, and web applications using HTML, CSS, XML, and dynamic technologies such as JavaScript, JQuery, and other technologies • Work with presentation tier developers to the implement designs • Work with web design team to ensure adherence to web branding standards *Skills/experience REQUIRED of the assigned staff:* • Strong knowledge of Web Accessibility standards • Strong information architecture experience • Understanding of rich interactive application design • Experience designing for mobile devices a plus • Strong understanding of user-centered design • Proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver • Experience using SharePoint Designer or Visual Studio a plus • Experience designing for SharePoint a plus • Strong verbal communication skills (oral and written) NOTE: Client is looking to file multiple openings for this position, please refer to your friends or colleagues who would be interested.
