Location: Redmond, WA
Duration: 6-12 months.*
Job Description:
A SQL server DBA with Production support experience.
· Experience with SQL Server 2005 and/or SQL 2008
· Deploying, administering, monitoring, and troubleshooting SQL
servers within the Windows Phone organization
· Experience with SQL queries, performance, backup, maintenance,
SQL Server Reporting Services and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS
· Working knowledge and experience using Hyper V, experience of SAN
and DAS storage solutions and administering Windows Servers
· Ability to effectively multi-task in a changing environment
· Solid troubleshooting skills and the ability to troubleshoot
software, hardware, and networking issues
· Good understanding of security groups, OU’s, and user privilege
maintenance Highly Desirable
· Experience with Server 2008/R2 clustering
· Active Directory experience in a multi-domain, multi-forest
environment
• Ability to originate or edit scripts (PowerShell, TSQL)
