*Job Title: Cognos Report Developer Location: Bala Cynwyd, PA Duration: 6 Months Contract to Hire (No H1b)* Job Descreption: Work with the latest technology in all areas from infrastructure hardware to advanced insurance applications Experience strong career management with mentoring and career path options including IT technology architecture and management tracks. Work within a hard-working, innovative, and motivated team environment Duties Design, develop and maintain reporting solutions per reporting requirements Work closely with Business Analysts to assist in solutions analysis, prototyping and testing Assist in development, testing and maintenance of data warehouses in support of reporting solutions to enable clients to perform their own ad-hoc querying, reporting, and analysis Provide technical assistance by responding to inquiries from clients regarding issues and/or questions about reports Support reporting operations by working closely with other development teams to quickly resolve operational issues Create and maintain technical documentation Provide technical support to project team members Qualifications Bacheloras Degree (preferably in Computer Science, MIS, or Software Engineering) Minimum 5+ years Cognos experience required: Cognos 10, Report Studio, Query Studio, Framework Manager, Analysis Studio (TM1 preferred) Cognos certification preferred Experience with SQL 2005/2008 preferred: T-SQL SSRS, SSIS Knowledge and experience in full lifecycle development and deployment of BI reporting solutions Experience and understanding of relational and dimensional data models Effective written and oral communications Effective problem solving and analytical skills Proven ability to participate as a project team member Knowledge of Property & Casualty Insurance is preferred Thanks & Best Regards Bob Smith - Technical Recruiter Panzersolutions LLC, [email protected] Voice: 203-652-1442 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle Users" group.
