Sr. Java Web Developer Location - Chicago, IL 5 months plus Primary Responsibility The consultant’s main focus will be working with internal Redbox technical teams in performing the following activities: · Architectural Reviews · Code Reviews · Performance Tuning · Prototyping · Analysis and Design Experience · Building high traffic, consumer-facing websites o Security o Scalability o CDN · 10+ years of development experience o OO Design o Server-side web development § Java § Servlets § DI frameworks, e.g. Spring o Client-side web development § JavaScript (including modern, unobtrusive use of JavaScript and understanding of JavaScript objects) § HTML § CSS § jQuery · Desired additional experience o Streaming video, in particular with Silverlight o Federated Authentication (WS-Fed) o Apache / Tomcat o Experience in working with offshore teams o Designing for and deploying to the cloud o Distributed caching with memcached
