**Role: Oracle Configurator Analyst/Developer**
**Location: Chicago,IL**

*Essential Job Functions:*
* Analyze, create and maintain bills of material in an Oracle environment
* Take lead role in cooperation and liaison with development
engineering, manufacturing engineering, production planning and
other operations functions
* Lead cross functional teams in developing and analyzing data
provided by Engineering and collaborating as necessary to ensure
accurate and complete bills of material are created to support
product configuration requirements
* Lead cross functional teams between development engineering,
manufacturing engineering, production planning and other operations
functions to determine the most effective/efficient way to
configurator products
* Design and develop Oracle Configurator Extensions and/or other
customized programs
* Take a lead role to conceptualize, develop and maintain configurator
design documentation (visio diagrams, test templates/documents,
design flowcharts, etc.) to support development of highly complex
new/changed product in configurator models and develop configurator
models to support those designs
* Independently set up and track performance metrics for configurator
models and set performance thresholds
* Complete analysis and trouble shooting and develop innovative
approaches to improving the models
* Have in depth knowledge at troubleshooting and necessary corrective
action on configurator developer issues
* Act as liaison between PCD team and Oracle Support on issues
requiring Oracle support.
* Lead the effort in the creation and maintenance of bills of material
as they are used in the configurator development.
* Write complex ECOs as required.
* Take a leadership role in improving business processes and support
critical business strategies as required
* Take a leadership role in the development of processes and
procedures and the creation of documentation related to
configuration process
* Create and maintain Oracle reports and SQL queries as required
* Conduct root cause analysis and respond to configurator and/or ATO*
bill of material issues and non conformances, along with analyzing
and responding to CPARs related to field failures
* Develop and deliver training to both internal and external organizations
* Create and manage configuration program schedules and serve as
liaison to Program Management
