Location: Bloomington, IL Duration: 12 mos+ ROLE: Selenium Test Analyst OVERVIEW/RESPONSIBILITIES: This individual will work on a team which provide Test Automation solutions for infrastructure and product testing. They would be responsible for automated test design and execution. The team is responsible for providing all levels of test on a work effort; System, End-to-End System Test, User Acceptance Test, Performance Test, Non-Functional Test, Regression Test, End-to-End Customer Experience Test, Implementation Test, Integration Test. They help decide what should be automated and how manual procedures may be modified to better facilitate automation. The Test Analyst is required to have excellent communication skills; both written and verbal. - Promote the use of test automation. - Create and maintain test documentation for each testing effort (i.e. Test Strategy, Test Plan, and Test Summary). - Design, create, execute, and log results for test cases. - Work with business and development teams in requirements of testing efforts and test plan and test case reviews. - Perform a full product review for impacts to assigned product • Engage in incidents and problems associated to stability and availability of your product • Review each Release for a list of products being changed and determine integration testing needs for your product assigned - Accountable for identifying, documenting and managing risks and defects associated to the products (with escalation). - Schedule one-on-one meeting with the Product Owner to understand the changes, potential impacts of the changes and to review unit test cases and results. - Be visible and available to all team members for assistance in training, reviewing work, knowledge share, and maintaining workload. - Keep the Test Manager informed of all issues that may need to be escalated. - Be able to communicate on a technical level and be able to bridge the gap between projects, business partners and technical staff. - Seek to remain current on technology. Especially those technologies with future team impact. - Provide technical assistance in evaluating new solutions that may impact the workload of the testing team(s). - Validate and verify that solutions meet business, functional, and technical requirements. - Provide testing strategy and planning, environment monitoring, and risk mitigation. - Ensure timely completion of appropriate and accurate testing deliverables throughout the project life cycle. - Utilizes Services Management practices. - Provides suggestions for testing improvement. SKILLS/EXPERIENCE NEEDED: - Extensive background in QA methodologies and experience developing and executing comprehensive test suites for web testing - Experience developing test automation suite / scripts in Selenium - Experience with Selenium WebDriver, Selenium IDE is required - Programming/scripting experience with Java - Object Oriented programming experience is helpful - Experience creating and maintaining test documentation (Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Summary, Test Cases, etc.) - Experience using a test management tool (TestLink is preferred) - Experience developing an automation-testing framework is helpful - IT Service Management or ITIL experience is preferred ADDITIONAL INFO: Candidates MUST possess each of the following interpersonal skills and traits: - Self-starter - ability to take initiative and to drive work with minimal direction - Self-confidence - willing to make educated mistakes and learn from them - Assertiveness - ability to quickly assess issues and plan course of action for resolution - Flexibility - comfortable working in a changing environment and shifting priorities quickly - High Learning Agility/Aptitude - ability to learn quickly on the fly - Organization, Attention to detail - Resourceful - ability to navigate an organization, ability to figure out what resources are needed and effectively engage those resources - Communication skills - ability to interface with all levels of an organization, excellent oral and written communication skills Ram, [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle Users" group.
