Location: Santa Clara, CA Duration: Long term I’ve listed below the key requirements for the open GL job position, it is a functional FI-CO / techno position with emphasis on strong BW knowledge. The Resource should walk-through the BW design, understands data modeling and transformation and also has worked on a project where they integrated both ECC and non-ECC data into BW. • Must have 6 - 7 years SAP experience minimum, including 2 - 3 full project life cycle implementations and enhancements / continuous improvement projects. • Must have ECC 6.0 experience • Must be proficient with MS Tools, MS Excel, MS Word, etc... • Must have high level experience in BCS design, development, support, maintenance and interfaces. SAP certification a major PLUS • Working knowledge and experience of Business Intelligence is mandatory. Experience with writing specs for BI reports, validating and testing of BI/BO Reports, solid understanding of BW design and data modeling are a major plus • High level of experience and knowledge in Financial Accounting and Financial Reporting • Hands-on application and proficient configuration experience in Finance and Controlling, including but not limited to: profit centers & hierarchy configuration & maintenance, Asset Accounting configuration, Tax configuration (experience with Taxware), financial operations processes and concepts, multi-currency experience, currency revaluation & translation, document splitting, non-leading ledger, substitutions / validations, functional area usage, understanding of financial close and consolidations, intercompany processing, account determination, internal order settlement, US and regional requirements. • SAP Security functional experience • Experience with working on custom Interfaces • Integration experience with Materials Management and Sales & Distribution integration is a plus • Must have experience promoting changes to Production and associated methodology, including writing and executing test plans • Must have experience writing complex functional specifications including interfaces and custom programs, working with technical programmers to analyze defects and propose solutions • Must have experience training material development and delivery.
