*HI All,* *Hope you are doing great !!!*
*Please send the resume to : [email protected] * * * *Job Title: QA Tester* *Location: Glendale, CA **(Needs Locals Face to face interview required)* *Duration: 3-6 months+ (But they tend to keep contractors there for a long time)* * * *Job Description:* *Tech environment*: Although these are QA roles, this team is very engineering minded. They use all open source tools - selenium for front-end, back-end - sql queries, use Hadoop Job's to pull and do comparisons, and they use ruby as well. For scripting, he lets his engineers write in what they are strongest at so one guy does all Perl and another does all PHP. Unix environment with an Oracle backend. Core of this job is end to end manual, functional testing. The Lead QA Engineer describes this as someone that not only tests to make sure the data is there but it is flowing through to where it is supposed to go. This person must be able to communicate with different teams and understand documentation and requirements. They will need to create test cases and then execute on those based on the requirements. *Must Haves:* At least 5 years of manual testing experience, including the ability and experience doing end to end functional testing for at least 2 years At least 2 previous projects where they have experience creating test cases, executing on those test cases, and overseeing the entire flow of data vs. just one part of it. Some SQL skills are needed - 1.) ability to write and run the queries 2.) Using SQL to see not just is the data there but it is correct in the database (i.e. data validation) ***this is the SQL language, not SQLServer*** Experience testing on the Unix platform Experience testing on an Oracle database *It can be Perl, Bash, Korn, Shell or whatever but it seems like some scripting experience will be required to win the job.* *Intangibles: want someone who is analytical so they can see problems, analyze the issue and work to resolve quickly* Thanks Bob Smith 203-652-1444 Ext 118 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle Users" group.
