*Description:*
Experienced Front-End web client application developer with no less than 2
years' experience with HTML5, JavaScript and CSS3 (cascading style sheets).
5 Years of experience in Front-End web client application developer.
This resource should have experience as a lead developer on significant web
development projects and should have played a guiding role in setting
development standards for a web development team.
This resource is recognized as a subject matter expert in the areas of HTML5,
JavaScript, and CSS3.
*Duties:*
Researches and evaluates potential solutions and recommends the most efficient
and cost effective solution for an HTML5 common presentation layer, including
UI designs and design specifications for web applications that will run on
multiple platforms (i.e. notebook and mobile devices) Engineers web solutions
that are compatible across client operating systems, browsers and devices.
These solutions will potentially become integrated within EWS and in
cross-divisional development projects.Designs and implements (hands-on
development) POCs and production frameworks for web presentation layer services.
Supports the implementation of standard software libraries, including HTML
presentation layer templates
CSS3 templates
JavaScript libraries
Live Tiles (Windows 8)
Adaptation of legacy interfaces for mobile device compatibility Write project
related documentation including:
Web development framework documentation
Web design guidelines
Web development standards
Web development handbook
Work closely with domain experts/enterprise solution architects globally (i.e.,
SharePoint Portal, Advanced SharePoint, BPM, Java/.Net, UCM) to produce
enterprise level / HTML5-based user interfaces for new applications and legacy
applications.
Work with application architects to ensure that design quality and continuity
guidelines and coding standards are developed, documented and taught to
external application development vendors and Novartis application development
teams outside of the Enterprise Web Services group.
*Skills:*
Must have: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, .NET
Desirable: SharePoint 2010, InfoPath, SharePoint Designer
Tools: Visual Studio 2010 (2012 preferred), MS Team Foundation Server, Eclipse
IDE, Dreamweaver (or other HTML IDE)
*Keywords*:
User interface frameworks and libraries Applicationframeworks
Application programming interfaces (APIs).
Thorough knowledge of and experience working in rapid development SDLC
methodologies (Agile).
Web services integration experience required.
Thorough knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 capabilities and browser compatibilities
with popular frameworks and proof of ability to apply knowledge to
projects/applications required.
DOT NET hands-on development environment experience required.
Hands-on work experience of Java, JEE , Javascript , iOS and C# programming
languages and development environments required.
Knowledge of iOS and Objective C programming languages and development
environments (xCode, Appcelerator, Eclipse, Visual Studio (10) and iRise or
Azure) required.
Knowledge of Windows 8 Metro design language and design guidelines highly
desirable.
