Job Title: Cisco Network Engineer Location: Tampa, FL Length: 4-6 month+ Current need is for Sr. Network Engineer, for a very large company in the Tampa Area. The position breakdown is evenly distributed between troubleshooting, supports and set up of new office/inventory control. List of hardware stack below: Nexus 7000,5000,1000v Catalyst 6509, 4507R, 3560 Cisco Loadbalancer ASA 5550 Palo Alto Firewalls Gigamon This resource will be responsible for setting up new circuits (TI, ES3), supporting wintel and telephony, as well as new office openings and inventory management. With troubleshooting, the resource will need to be able to make the changes and document resolution. Must be able to articulate ideas, processes, resolutions, as this role will be able to open project plans and make design changes or new design. Positive to be proficient in visio and power point. Resource will need to be comfortable working closely with business and understand wireless and security configurations. NAC or ISE knowledge a must. Basic activities include setting up and installing all routes and switches (Cisco). CCNA, CCNP, CCIE all “nice to haves” but practical real world experience can offset lack of certification. Past project experience/exposure with firewall replacement, core router upgrades, loadbalancer upgrades would be plus.
