REQUIRED SKILLS: *6-8 years of architecting enterprise solutions using JAVA/J2EE, JSP, Pl/SQL technologies and SOA architectures.* *6-8 years of experience in building complex SQL statements.* Hands-on experience in web services interaction models (RPC, SOA, REST) i.e consuming web services. Experience in development of web services using technologies HTTP, XML, SOAP, WSDL, Universal Description, Discovery and Integration (UDDI)). Familiarity with service delivery models (SaaS, PaaS). Familiarity with databases including Oracle 10g/11g. Microsoft SQL Server 2008, SQL and Transact-SQL. Unix/Linux Excellent communication, writing/documentation and facilitation skills. Technical Degree, preferably in Computer Science/Engineering. DESIRED SKILLS: Experience in various data technologies such as Informatica (ETL), SAP Business Objects (Businesss Intelligence), COMPOSITE (Data Virtualization). Experience in various development methodology like Agile/Scrum development methodology. Familiarity with running web applications on Apache/Tomcat/IIS. Linux or windows systems administration skills. Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong diplomatic, interpersonal and teamwork skills. Global development experience is a plus RESPONSIBILITIES: The candidate is expected to perform the following tasks: Conduct/attend requirements definition meetings with end users and document system/business requirements Develop an in-depth understanding of the business processes and data in the corporation and apply the knowledge towards developing and maintaining the web/data services Enhance (or create) web/data services to meet requirements, applying the BI team standards and naming conventions Maintain a high level of service performance as a design principle. Conduct performance tuning exercise for query responsiveness-issues Document definitions for all new web/data services and document the web/data services enhancements in a standard document.
