*Java FLEX Developer * * Washington, DC. * *Duration : 6+ Month* They are seeking an Architect level candidate with J2EE/Java, Adobe Flex/LiveCycle DS Development, architecting, engineering, and designing large scale enterprise applications, including strong in depth knowledge of all phases in SDLC. REQUIRED SKILLS: 8 + years of experience working with J2EE/Java. 5 + years of experience working with J2EE/Java. 3+ years experience with Flex/Java data services, knowledge of BlazeDS, Parsley or similar. 12 + years of experience in architecting, engineering, and designing large scale enterprise applications, including strong in depth knowledge of all phases in SDLC. Experienced with Cairngorm framework and advanced understanding of MVC framework concepts. Solid knowledge of database concepts and SQL queries. Hands-on experience of application performance issues and improvement techniques. Advanced skills in engaging with business stakeholders to leverage technologies in providing solutions that address business needs and challenges. This includes business analysis, process modeling, systems development, and application implementation and deployment. Hands on project management experience including planning, scheduling and tracking projects in an agile environment. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and collaborative skills and ability to communicate with managers, and technical staff at all levels on technical strategies, implementation plans, project scope, and technology platforms. Experienced in managing onshore/offshore technical development team. Experienced in evaluating and anticipating impact of technical solutions on existing systems and propose implementation plans in moving from the current technical architecture towards future state. Extensive presentation and training experience. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop technical architecture strategies to implement the system through definition of architecture solutions, design patterns, and reusable framework while taking technology trends and industry standards into consideration, Programs using languages and framework in currently in use: Java, Flex, LiveCycle DS, Parsley, XML. Maintain control over the architecture lifecycle parallel to the projects software development lifecycle. Proactively monitor the adherence of the implementation to the chosen architecture in all development iterations. Assess and evaluate new emerging products. Responsible for recommending technical solutions to the business stakeholders and IT senior management in aligning technologies to support client business planning. Provide technical leadership, coaching and mentoring to team members/peers. Responsible for providing technical strategic presentation to executives and managers. Responsible for transferring system knowledge to end users at all levels.
