*Ab Initio Developer * Jacksonville, FL Duration: 6months EAD OPT GC or Citizen only ETL Ab Initio Developers are responsible for the detailed design documentation, development, unit testing and maintenance of planned and unplanned internally developed applications created for internal business partners. Writes and/or is able to read and understand technical and functional requirements documents. Provides input to Business Analysts, Systems Analyst and other IT staff on workability of designs, architecture, and testing. Researches and recommends solutions to customer requirements, as needed. Creates documents and executes unit testing on internally developed ETL code. Ability to work on multiple projects using a waterfall methodology or agile approach. Provide production support. * Job Requirements:* Write ETL code for a range of simple to moderately complex system designs. Write ETL code for enhancing existing programs or developing new programs Write detailed technical design specifications for subsystems and identify integration points Scope time, resources, etc., required to complete programming projects. Seek review from other Developers, SA and/or Project Managers on estimates Perform unit testing and debugging. Set test conditions based upon code specifications. Demonstrated proficiency and experience with SQL, UNIX and XML Coordinate Activities with Others on All Phases of SDLC *SKILLS * Ab Initio,Moderate,2-5 years SQL,Moderate,2-5 years XML,Moderate,2-5 years UNIX,Moderate,2-5 years UDB,Moderate,2-5 years *ADDITIONAL SKILLS * Working knowledge of Ab Initio Metadata Hub tools such as feeds, extractors, view customizations and tabular view specs. is a plus.
