Responsibilities and Skills Participate as a Professional Tester on one or more Scrum Teams Initially may be heavily involved in design of a Regression Test Suite Help Define Acceptance Criteria Develop Test Strategy per Sprint and per Story Define and Document Testing Tasks Effort Estimation Define Automation Requirements Test Environment Coordination Create/Update Test Data Create/Update Test Scripts (Manual or Automated or SQL) Test Execution (Non Exploratory) Exploratory Testing Test Reporting Issue/Item Reporting / Research Taking ownership of continuously self-improvement of skills in the software testing world *REQUIRED SKILLS * 4+ years of demonstrated experience as an Agile Test Engineer doing the following: - Testing web, client/server, and mobile applications in an Agile/Scrum process - Black box and white box testing in a Microsoft technologies environment Depth and breadth of experience with both manual and automation testing Experience with Automated Testing and associated tools (TFS Coded UI, Selenium, HP QTP) essential Experience with Agile/Scrum is required Experience with multiple automation tools Selenium being one of them, and frameworks, Very good oral and writing skills Shows the ability and experience to work on their own, perform duties with little direction, and can operate in an environment where knowledge sharing is primarily performed orally with little documentation. Testing experience with Web Applications and Web Services with detailed understanding Ability to learn business quickly and translate into requirements, test cases Ability to create SQL Statements *PREFERRED SKILLS * Prefer those with knowledge and experience using MS Tools (MTM, TFS, VS) Versatility in testing, the ability to look at a situation and use several different approaches to solving it Prefer those who have automation experience beyond record and playback of the UI B.S.
