*Position:* Software Test support Engineer

*Location:* Dallas,TX

*Duration:* 8 Months

*Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills:*

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in providing assurance services
• Ability to influence and drive quality across teams through
collaboration.
• Proven capability in test methodology, test design, automation, and test
processes.
• Passion for quality assurance and testing and to deliver customer
satisfaction
• Strong object oriented programming concepts, debugging, and test
automation skills with Java/J2EE.
• Excellent knowledge of Web Services, SOA, XML, SOAP, technology.
• Ability to perform system-wide root cause analysis and drive improvements.
• Excellent co-ordination, follow-up, negotiation, problem solving  skills
• Customer Service Orientation, Time Management, Multi-tasking Ability and
Analytical Ability
• Excellent Communication skills  (Listening, Persuasiveness, Oral, Written)
• People (Team Orientation, Judgment, Interpersonal Relations, Results/Goal
Orientation, Resiliency/Adaptability)
• Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Power Point
• Airline Domain related Testing experience a plus.

*Roles and responsibility:*

• Investigate and identify the defects during execution of Test
Scenarios/Cases.
• Search, analyze the App Server/ DB Server Logs, and interpret to identity
the root cause and provide necessary recommendations to all stake holders.
• Support the Central Testing Desk (CTD) team with smooth execution of
Performance/Load/Regression Testing.
• Functions as an Assurance Subject Matter Expert (SME) and advisor to
customers and Application suite Teams (AST) and CTD.
• Coordinator role for offshore support staff (if any).
• Responsible for own work and contributing to team, department and/or
business results.
• Develops system documentation and provides  assistance with user
documentation
• Provides on-going communication with client to inform them of progress
and status.
• Good written and oral communication

*Desirable Skills:*
• CSQA / TMMi
• Airline Business Domain Knowledge
