Application Server Admin at Dallas, TX  for a Fulltime Position.

WAS
"• Monitor hotline call Management
• Monitor alerts on dashboard for WebSphere environment
• Interpret errors sent via alert/email or hotline with regards to
websphere environment
• Following threshold alert monitor websphere applications servers health
using ITCAM/EG
• Perform websphere JVM as well as application start/stop
• Perform HTTP Server start/stop
• Interpret system out/systerr/access/error logs
• Perform data source connectivity test
• WebSphere Binary Patching, Bug fixes support
• perform basic service availability between various WAS infrastructure
components test as required
• Monitor hotline call
• Interpret and understand the problem by analyzing websphere/web server
logs and fix it
• Interpret and understand the problem by analyzing application logs fix it
• troubleshoot problems related to database connectivity
• troubleshoot problems related to MQ resource connectivity
• troubleshoot problems related to heap memory
• make config changes to create data source connections
• make config changes to make MQ queues connections
• make config changes to create MDB listener
• Create clusters, Web instances, virtual host,  and setup EAR file
deployment environment
• troubleshoot deployment issues and fix it

"• Monitor MQ related alerts and respond
• Perform stop/start of MQ manager
• Patch management for version upgrade and bug fixes
• Perform basic network level troubleshooting
• Perform basic checks related to MQ manager status
• Check queue depth
• Checking SFTP/ATMOS transfer status
• Resolve and restart any transfer issues
• Create queues/channels
• Make configuration changes to MQ objects such as queues
• Analyze logs and find root cause
• Troubleshooting issues related in setup
• Perform operations on MQ objects
• Troubleshoot SFTP/ATMOS transfer status issues"
