Position Description Looking for senior level application developer / analyst with 10 to 15 years experience, ideally working in the financial IT community.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent database design and development skills working with Sybase Adaptive Server, DB2, or other RDBMS. Strong data modeling experience is a plus. Candidate should be proficient in creating/modifying tables, indexes, and stored procedures, and should have experience working with large volumes of data. In addition, the candidate should be an experienced Java developer, with working knowledge of topics listed in the skills section below. Perl/scripting knowledge is also desirable. Experience in the financial IT industry, and fluency in the financial/accounting vernacular would also be highly beneficial. Individual must be self-starter, be able to able to work within a large team, and have strong analytical skills. While the role will be primarily focused development, the individual must be equipped to communicate with clients as well as IT colleagues.
