*Database Analyst* *Location : fosters City , CA * *Duration : 6+ Months . * *F2F interview required . * *Responsibilities: * - Design and develop scripts for data derivation and validation - Design and develop validation scripts for back populated data - Analyze data mapping results, validate accuracy based on the source and data trends, prepare factual explanations for valid differences, advise on the corrections where appropriate - Coordinate technical activities related to back population and back derivation with various teams - Coordinate integration validations for system migration across data platforms - Oversee and represent technical teams during user transition and sunset of legacy system components *Skills:* - Technical: SQL script development, Microstrategy, DB2, familiarity with ETL, DataWarehouse, BI technologies - Analytical: aptitude for complex problems and systems, ability to capture problem facts and recognize the root cause, strong and flexible problem solving skills - Communication/Organization: strong written and verbal, ability to present a structured plan; describe an issue, root cause and a solution approach clearly and concisely, proven track of proactive planning, risk identification and management - Attitude: commitment to success and quality, flexibility and willingness to work with global teams under pressure, 'can do' attitude *Must have skills:* Strong SQL script development experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with ETL. Familiarity with Microstrategy, DB2, DataWarehouse, BI technologies.
