ONLY LOCAL candidates to Texas at this time. * *MUST have work samples/work portfolio to show when presenting resume to hiring manager* *Job Purpose:* The Senior User Experience Designer will help to create leading B2B software that supports the healthcare industry. This person will represent the needs of the end customer while working in close collaboration with product managers, business analysts, and developers. *Skills:* Bachelor or Masters of Science/Arts or equivalent in Library Science, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related discipline. 5-7 years of experience in interaction design, information architecture, user interface design, or similar role. Solid understanding of user-centered design methods and best practices Familiarity with advanced UI patterns Proficiency with design tools Understanding of front-end technologies Good communication and writing skills needed to transfer information to individuals involved in the development process. Ability to respond to fluctuating requirements with comfort and ease Must submit a portfolio showcasing projects where candidate participated in a similar role. Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment that requires quick turnaround and quality output Solid knowledge of all MS Office Products *Preferred Qualifications:* Familiarity with Agile development Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and front-end technologies *Duties:* Perform user-centered design and analysis for a wide suite of business applications. Translate business requirements, test results, user feedback, and company standards into a user interface solution. Document process and user flows and site navigation Define detailed page-level interactions in documentation ranging from high to low fidelity (such as wireframes, comps, and interactive prototypes). Present documentation to business owners, team members, and others. Conduct usability tests. Produce graphics and apply defined branding guidelines.
