JOB DESCRIPTION
Sr. Java Developer
- The entire team consists of: 4 people in charge of PC/Networking
issues within the company, 8 RPG/AS400 developers, 2 Java Developers (the
manager also does some Java development).
- The new person to come in will be creating new B2B website using JSF.
Our ERP system is running on AS/400, B2B systems are already in Java and
there’s even some Java in AS400.
- We are using the latest versions of Java (7) and JSF (2); however, the
experience does not have to be in the latest versions.
- Web design and development experience is necessary with this position.
Experience with AS400 is helpful, as is good people and communication
skills.
- Work is mainly done in the office during business hours; working from
home will be on an as-needed basis.
