· 6+ Enterprise Data Center environment
*TECHNICAL/FUNCTIONAL SKILLS:*
· UNIX Operating systems management focused on AIX, Linux.
· OS Patch management, service delivery tasks and requests from management
approved customer requests.
· Resource demands of the team for various project deliverables.
· Tasks and efforts identified for requested resource.
· Documentation project: compile and standardize documentation for the UNIX
teams Perform Development, QA, and Prod UNIX system LAN ID requests,
troubleshooting for system alerts and incidents.
· Perform Dev, QA, and Prod UNIX system
Troubleshooting/performance/security analysis Perform Dev, QA, PSE and Prod
requests for Operating System Support of Distributed Systems Project
Portfolio Automation of general system admin security tasks and deployments.
· Validating servers listed on the patch schedule against servers needing
vulnerability remediation.
· Updated Operations/KPI/Verification Reports and documentation as required
Storage and file system concepts like inode and superblock,vgs,lvs,fs,etc
Familiar with Unix networking (like routing, NFS, DNS, etc].
