POSITION: *QA Performance Test Architect*

LOCATION: San Antonio, TX

DURATION: long term contract

*Mandatory:*

8+ years of total IT and 5+ years of relevant experience required.



*Job Description:*

Requirement is for a Performance Engineering Architect position and not an
Application/Development Architect.



This candidate is expected to analyze performance test metrics, coordinate
with various technical stakeholders, identify root cause of performance
bottlenecks and provide inputs to the dev team/architects to resolve the
same. Specifically,



1.            Develop performance test strategy and design

2.            Coordinate with DBA, Appserver admins, OS admins, performance
engineers to conduct real time performance monitoring during
Load/Performance tests

3.            Correlate performance metrics from Appserver, Dbserver, OS
and LoadRunner tool to assess the system performance behavior and advise on
next course of action to identify performance issues

4.            Leverage diagnostics tools such as Dynatrace, CA Wily
Introscope or any Application Performance Management tool to conduct root
cause analysis and diagnose performance bottlenecks

5.            Conduct code profiling using JProfiler/JProbe/Optimize
IT/Yourkit or similar tools
