*seeking an experienced SQL Developer SSIS/SSMS to support our Broomfield,
CO based client. The initial duration of this contract engagement is
approximately 11 months.*



*Position Requirements:  *

Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred. 3-5 years minimum job
related experience. 3+ years development experience implementing solutions
for complex systems supporting business processes required.

*Job specifics:*

Performs as a seasoned hands-on developer in the selected technology and
contributes to all phases of the SDLC (software development life cycle).
Responsible for supporting the SQL development and integration activities
of the business reporting and analytics group.  Supports current SQL
reporting infrastructure and engages with the business to identify and
develop new business requirements and reports.  Provides support for
functional and process improvement efforts related to information delivery
and core business intelligence services in the data warehouse.

1. Implements and delivers technology solutions to complex business
problems.

2. Defines component detailed specifications to solve complex, business
problems.

3. Delivers high quality technical solutions that meet business needs.
Configures, develops, and tests, monitors and supports changes and
enhancements to applications systems.

4. Responsible for complying with the SDF process. Utilizes end-to-end
software development life cycle (SDLC) practices to deliver a quality
product:

a. Reviews software specifications.

b. Performs requirements analysis.

c. Develops and refines throw-away simulations or prototypes to confirm
requirements.

d. Designs.

e. Supports project management tasks like estimating and planning
dependencies/risks.

f. Implements (e.g. installation, configuration, programming/customization,
integration, data migration).

g. Performs code reviews.

h. Authors documentation needed by users and implementation partners, etc.

i. Performs testing, including defining/supporting acceptance testing and
gathering feedback from pre-release testers. Writes and reviews test
plans/strategies to ensure software quality.

j. Participates in software release and post-release activities, including
support for product launch (e.g.

developing demonstrations and/or samples) and analysis for subsequent
product build/release cycles.

k. Maintenance.

5. Solves complex problems using existing solutions.

6. Suggests improvements to the SDLC process, tools for efficient software
turnaround.

7. Defines the integration between proposed development projects and
existing systems, software and hardware.

8. Ensures that systems and application designs adhere to standards and
reflect the architecture appropriately.

10. Defines capability gaps and how to align it to business needs.
