HP-UX/ Linux Systems Senior Engineer
8-10 years of experience in HP-UX System Administration
Configuration and Management of HP-UX virtualized environment such as
NPARs, VPARs and WPARs.
Installation and configuration of High Availability environment using MC /
Serviceguard
Configuration and administration of HP Logical volume manager
Configuring Unix Security baseline
Troubleshooting Hardware and Operating system related issues
Performance Management & fine tuning
Experience in System Fault Tolerance Design, Business continuity and
Disaster recovery planning
Knowledge of NFS, DHCP, and DNS.
In-depth hardware configuration knowledge such as HP Superdome Servers.
Shell programming expertise.
Administer & configure various file systems like CIFS, Pseudo FS
Understanding of SAN and NAS storage.

Responsibilities:
Adhering to SLAs and ITIL Processes
Oversees and is responsible for successful completion of Installation,
configuration and migration
Understanding of Multi-geo support environment
Responsible for building / maintaining both PROD and NON-PROD environments
Planning Backup/Restoration Strategy for 24x7 operation support
Suggesting patches/upgrades to maintain security level
Assist / Plan / Procedure in Data center consolidation efforts
Perform H/W & performance tuning and maintenance
