*Position :- C++ Developer *

*Work Location: Erie, PA (The associate has to travel to onsite, Erie for
few weeks and can work from any location in US once getting familiar with
the details of the client's Transportation environment.)*

*Duration :- Long Term*

Work Statement:

This project will consist of documenting, updating as necessary, and
creating new application test code used to test subsystems within the
client's Control System in a standalone manner. The work will consist of
making any updates to existing application test code to enable it to run in
the current client's Control System while documenting its design and
creating user guides for each tool. In addition, the work will consist of
making any updates to existing application test code to support the new
client's Control System Architecture. The work will also consist of
creating any new application test tools needed to test the new client's
Control System Architecture to enable it to be tested in a standalone
manner. The work will also consist of executing the new and updated tests
on the new client's Control System Architecture and reporting any defects
found and subsequently validating the fixes made. The work will also
consist of running the Coverity analysis tool against the entire source
code base for the new Control System Architecture and identifying critical
errors that must be fixed. The documentation and code will follow a
standard format that client's will provide when the program begins.

Timeline

The coding, testing and documentation should be complete by May 2, 2014.
All code and test documentation must be provided to client's prior to
release. The duration of support by the project team should be continuous
through June of 2014.

Working Relationship

Because of the tight timeline and critical and sensitive nature of the
subject matter, the team assigned to this project must be able to interact
with the local team in Erie, PA at least 2 weeks out of each month.

Once the work elements and been defined and the scope of changes defined
and explained the work is expected to be completed off-site. The testing
of the module must be performed at our facility upon completion of a
module(s). Remote access will not be available. Our development
environment and development hardware can be provided as necessary.

Background

Client's has created application test programs during the development of
the current Control System, however these application test programs have
not necessarily been maintained as the Control System has been in use.
Client's is now creating a new Control System Architecture that heavily
leverages the existing software code base on a new hardware platform with
new communications paths. The new Control System Architecture is currently
under development.
