Description: Work with development team to design, develop and support investment management related applications Develop functional enhancements and upgrades to systems and application software Define test conditions and develop accurate and complete test plans Collaborate with development team and business users in the testing of new software programs and applications Troubleshoot issues and be able to implement fixes Develop documentation, reference materials, work flows and training materials Translate business needs into detailed written requirements bringing own experience into solutions REQUIREMENT: 7-10 years of experience in development design and systems management, preferably in financial services Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, or related discipline Excellent system design and development skills w/ proven experience in developing and deploying real world financial applications using modern technologies, with a strong preference on the Microsoft .NET platform Required User Interface expertise ASP.NET MVC .ASPX/Razor jQuery/JSON HTML/CSS AJAX/REST Experience with any of the third party UI controls (component art/infragistics/telerik/devart) DotNet language expertise: C# Other required expertise: Object Oriented Design Unit Testing / Test Driven Development Desired concepts: Continuous Integration Data Modeling Data binding and asynchronous pub/sub Software Design Patterns Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment Hands on experience in relational database systems, with a preference on the Oracle platform and PL/SQL. Ability to understand the database and use SQL to query data. Knowledge of equity and fixed income business Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application requirements. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively and confidently with users, team members, and management.
