As a member of the development team, you will: - review new requirements and develop designs and solutions to meet those requirements, and integrate applications with other applications - review enhancement requests and develop solutions to meet those requirements - participate in daily Scrums for the Agile development of the next generation of a case management system - write design documentation and automated tests - resolve production issues impacting a national application serving the user community - interact daily with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders - deliver formal and informal presentations to colleagues, customers, and stakeholders *Required Skills* The candidate must have demonstrated experience with: - Java & J2EE (Strong) - Java Server Pages (JSP) or Java Server Faces (JSF) (Strong) - ORM– EJB, Java Persistence API (JPA), Hibernate, or EclipseLink (Strong) - Web Services using modern frameworks like CXF, JAX-WS (Strong) - Structured Query Language (SQL) - Application Server (preferably JBoss) - Agile/Scrum methodology *Desired Skills* - JavaScript Frameworks (e.g. jQuery, AngularJS) - JBoss SEAM - Rich UI JSF frameworks like RichFaces, PrimeFaces - HTML5, CSS3 - Automated Testing (QTP, Selenium WebDriver etc.) - JBoss Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) - JBoss Business Rules Management System (BRMS) - Web Services Security - Build Tools (Maven/Ant) *2. Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited four-year college/university in one of the following majors: Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Applied Computer Sciences or Informatics. Five (5) years of experience, within the last seven (7) years, designing, developing, and implementing custom workflow applications including all aspects of the software development life cycle: requirements definition, specifications, design, development, integration testing, documentation, user training, implementation and maintenance. 3. Three (3) years of experience, within the last five (5) years, developing web-based applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX), JavaScript, Oracle application/database architecture, PL/SQL and Enterprise Architect. 4. Three (3) years of experience, within the last four (4) years, developing self-service applications utilizing Oracle BPEL within the Oracle SOA Suite 10g. 5. Four (4) years of experience, within the last five (5) years, developing and implementing enterprise workflow web-based applications using SQL, PL/SQL, HTML, Java Script, CSS, AJAX and XML. 6.
