Duration: 6 months. Job Summary:
Senior iOS Developer who will create eReading Apps for mobile devices on the 3M Cloud Library platform. • Create software development plans, architecture, and specifications. • Lead application development, participate in the coding process, and drive the quality of the application. • Communicate with project managers to coordinate the successful deployment and delivery of the system. Basic Qualifications: Experienced Lead iOS developer (at least 3 years on iOS)with a minimum of 3 Apps (or updates to one App) released to the iTunes store, including one App or update built on XCode 5 designed for both iPad and iPhone running iOS 5+. Willingness to manage and extend an existing iOS code base to meet business requirements. Experience creating and implementing visually appealing UI elements (Bars, Content Views, Controls, icons, Temporary Views, etc...). Fluency in Objective-C and working with RESTful APIs and the iphone/iPad Apple SDK Successful track record of developing iOS apps from start to finish and delivering to the market. Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse team. Preferred Qualifications: 3-8 years experience developing commercial software applications. Android experience a plus. Skilled in object-oriented design and development technologies Knowledge or skills in software engineering methodology including documentation, configuration management, verification and validation, and commercialization Experience with Git and Jira.
