*Location-Cincinnati, Ohio*
*Rate: $30-35/hr max*
*RESPONSIBILITIES*
To identify the most appropriate implementation approach to testing
according to the need of the project.
Configure and run tests using the appropriate tool according to project /
client.
Examine the results of implementation and if necessary make the appropriate
corrections.
Configure and run the tests to verify the performance and record results.
Develop customizations of average complexity in the implementation
framework.
Assess the result of each test cycle ensuring that this was performed
according to the test described in the script.
Open and control all incidents encountered.
Keep track of all your daily productivity, and impacts occurred during the
execution of their activities.
Prepare and deliver training as needed.
Perform technical meetings, presenting information and presentations of
results of work to clients.
Assist the architect with tests in the deployment of modelling processes
using proprietary tools within the customer environment
- Good knowledge in at least one of the following automation tools like;
o QTP (Priority)
o SilkTest
o Rational Functional Tester
o TestPartner
o Selenium
- Knowledge of development languages and database like:
- .NET
- Java
- VBA
- SQL Server
- Access
- Logic
- Attention to detail and a passion for software quality
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work on multiple projects/tasks
with limited direction and ability to apply good judgment and
decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of basic methodology processes of a Test Factory.
- Knowledge of the approaches and testing techniques.
- Debugging skills, diagnosis and maintenance of the code.
· Ability to diagnose and solve problems.
· Track record of meeting deadlines and delivering high quality
results
· Experience in analysis, debugging and correction of runtime errors
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience using automation tools in creation and maintenance of
scripts.
· Experience with load and performance testing a plus
*Education*
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other
related field. Equivalent work experience may be accepted
- Over 5 years experience with QA Automation.
