12+ months contract for a Data Virtualization Analyst in Chicago,IL

Denodo experience is a MUST!



Summary:

·         This position will be responsible for virtualizing data

sources as defined by Data Virtualization Data Stewards in order to

build virtual views and web services that will be published for

consumption by various lines of business.



·         It will require an understanding of databases, web services,

and integration tools in order to build a virtual view and make it

available for application consumption.



·         This role will partner with Data Virtualization Data

Stewards within the various Lines of Business (LOB) to fully implement

Data Virtualization at the client (table views and web services).



Qualifications:



·         Strong relational database skills.



·         This should include SQL, table unions and joins, and

application development. (Oracle, OSI PI and Hadoop MapReduce).



·         Experience with Data Virtualization technology (i.e.

Composite Software, Denodo, Informatica, etc).



·         Data mapping experience - mapping data sources to and from

multiple applications. Proficiency with at least one programming

language such as C++, C# or Java.



·         Experience with designing, developing, testing, and

supporting applications.



·         Information Security concepts and the ability to clearly

define workable security architectures in virtual data views that

support consuming applications and protect sensitive data.



·         Experience developing web services-based applications with

SOA (RESTFul and SOAP). Database administration experience (tuning and

caching).



·         Experience with Agile development methodologies
