Responsibilities for Sr. Data Analyst include:
Structure data requests & synthesize data
Generate insights & communicate findings
Create documents for management reviews
Work independently to organize the analytic needs of the team
Spearhead data collection process from various stakeholders
Define and communicate requested data structure and formats
Manage large and diverse data sets – use systems and tools (Excel,
PowerPoint, etc) to structure analyses and communicate findings
Sound analytical skills - define analyses and identify data
limitations and gaps
Mine data to find insights and enable team to draw actionable
implications (vs. just presenting facts)
Strong verbal and written communication skills -- craft and
communicate insights and findings
Proactively provide creative problem solving skills and think
outside of the box to identify "what is possible" with the data available
Independently execute analytical projects to understand and
quantify the impact of equipment, products and customers
Translate business problems into analytical problems, extract and
clean data, conduct statistical and quantitative analyses infer business
meaning of results and develop recommendations
