*Position : Hadoop systems admin Location :
Atlanta or Dallas Duration : 6+months*
*Job Description*:
Responsibilities include:
• Managing Linux and Hadoop clusters
• Deploying Hadoop using Savanna on OpenStack infrastructure
• Optimizing Hadoop configurations • Defining operational processes and
monitoring and maintenance procedures
• Participating in hands-on management of the production systems •
Experience working with Hadoop Ecosystem (Hive, Pig, Oozie)
• Maintaining and growing knowledge of scripting languages and cluster
configuration and monitoring tools (Ruby, Puppet, Nagios, Graphite or
similar)
Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science or related preferred) and at least 5
years of Linux systems experience.
