Job Title: Oracle Database Architect with Teamcenter experience Location: Houston, Texas Duration: 12+ months Onsite Contract Interview: Telephonic/Skype Job description: *Job Title* Oracle Database Architect with Teamcenter experience *Relevant Experience *(in Yrs) 10-15 years *Technical/Functional Skills* Must have hands-on experience working as PLM Teamcenter admin · Very good Oracle DBA experience · Teamcenter Implementation , installation , Configuration · Oracle database exposure in the context of Teamcenter · Multi Site Implementations · Application Migration from One network to another network environments *Experience Required *(in Yrs) 10-15 Years *Roles & Responsibilities* § At least 10-15 years, experience in managing & administrating Oracle Database based Teamcenter environments. § Must include knowledge & experience with network and hardware & other core background enabling technologies. § Must have experience in installing and reconfiguring Oracle for teamcenter databases § Responsible for migrating the Teamcenter\NX multi-site environments into GE environments from a different network environment; includes all activities relating to development & deployments & rollout. § Reconfigure Oracle & Teamcenter multisite (4 global sites) setup to fit GE environments (network, server hardware and client platforms) § Define detailed cutover steps to environment migration; act as a project lead for Teamcenter\NX merger activities and efforts. § Manage & drive project schedule and track issues & tasks. Ensure on-time quality delivery § Coordinate directly with ISS & CTO team to ensure all Teamcenter architecture (relating to network, hardware, security, etc.) tasks & issues are resolved in time. *Generic Managerial Skills* § Ability to work independently; lead small teams focused on specific work streams of larger projects § Strong oral and written communication skills § Good Analytical skill, Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment § Eagerness to mentor junior team members § Proficient use of Power Point presentation tool, and MS office tools. Proven writing skills for mass communication.
