*Job Position : Teradata Architect* *Location : Raritan, NJ* *Duration : 12+ months contract* *Qualification and Skills Required::* · The candidate should possess strong data analytical skills. Progressive and varied experience in SDLC (software development life cycle) for Data Warehouse applications on Teradata. · Experience with Teradata 14.0 and above. Extensive experience in development and deployment of Data Warehouse solutions · Proficient in data warehousing techniques for data cleaning, Slowly Changing Dimension phenomenon, surrogate key assignment and CDC (change data capture), Audit table, Error Handling Techniques for ETL process. Experience with large volume database and their performance tuning. · Strong understanding of Data Warehouse concepts and well versed with Bill Inmon's 3NF modeling and Ralph Kimball's Dimensional modeling, with Erwin skills. Experience in physical modeling with knowledge to use Primary, Secondary, PPI and Join Index · Experience with *MLoad, BTeq , MultiLoad, Tpump, TPT FastExport, Informatica PDO* and FastLoad to design and develop dataflow paths for loading transforming and maintaining Data Warehouse. · Experience in modeling using tools like ErWin and using industry standard data models like Teradata model for Life Sciences.
