Kindly go through the job description and let me know if you have any available consultant. *CIFS IPV4/6 Developer. * *Location: Santa Clara, CA* *Duration: 6 Months plus * Customer’s appliance currently supports only IPv4 for certain essential network services like DNS, DHCP, DDNS, IP aliasing and IPSec. For business reasons we need to support IPv6 besides IPv4. There is a requirement to add IPv6 to these services so we have full compliance. Work will involve developing system software in C programming language on Linux. It will include troubleshooting network issues and unit test various parts of the Linux network stack. The work may span across general TCP/IP NIC driver and networking software development and fixing bugs and issues as and when they come in the projects assigned. *Skills needed* : Expert-level TCP/IP protocol knowledge and deep knowledge and prior experience in how IPv6 protocol works. The ideal candidate enjoys playing with Linux network administration/configuration commands. The candidate must be well-versed in analyzing tcpdumps (packet captures).
