Solid understanding of data management and metadata, including familiarity with data governance best practices 3. In partnership with the Data Solution Architects, defines specific data element business definitions, valid values & quality rules 3. Submits change requests to DMCs for metadata and Data Quality changes of their Critical Data Elements 4. Accountable for ensuring that a proposed valid value aligns with the element's definition and appropriate metadata is established and captured via the Council's change management process 5. Ensures their data elements have lineage documented based on the requirements for each element (Authoritative Source vs. SOR) 6.Computer literacy/proficiency in data query tools such as SAS, SQL, Teradata, Oracle, UNIX, and MS Office preferred Strong Analytical, Process, Problem Solving and Detailed oriented Excellent Interpersonal, organizational and relationship building Skills . Strong Team Player. Excellent, Verbal, written and presentation skills. Ability to be flexible, follow tight timeline, organizing and Priorities work Efficient in MS Office Products (word, access, Excel and Visio) *Must Have:* Knowledge and experience of Metadata management and familiarity with Data Governance Solid understanding of data management and metadata, including familiarity with data governance best practices.
