Database Analyst/Developer Job Duties:
Develop the SSRS reports. Responsible for gathering and defining the initial requirements, Reports Development, Testing, Implementation, and Support REQUIREMENTS: Should have experience with the following areas: Designing Reports in Report Designer and Report Builder 3.0 (SSRS) SQL Server suite of tools - Management Studio (SSMS), Reporting Services(SSRS), SQL Server 2008, SQL Server 2012 and integration with ETL. Minimum 4 years of hands-on development experience in Enterprise Reporting Team (using SSIS & SSRS) and financial, operational and management report development. Minimum 4 years of hands-on development experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2008 (or higher). T-SQL or PL/SQL query & procedures. Strong SQL background & understanding of relational and dimensional data models and structures. Knowledge of Data Warehouse/data visualization tools. Experienced to work independently/coordinate the reports development with other team as necessary. Must be able to meet deadlines and work with little or no supervision. Comfortable with interaction between IT and Business operations. The ability to work quickly and effectively in order to provide ad hoc queries to business users on a daily basis. Analysis and problem-solving skills are essential. The ability to work as Technical Business Analyst, to read, interprets and develops reports from requirement documents. A general understanding and ability to apply Software Development Life Cycle practices and methodologies in a team collaboration environment. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
