Oracle Database Administrator
Primary responsibility is the ongoing support and administration of Oracle
database software systems.
- Plan, coordinate, and administer database systems, including base
definition, structure, documentation, long range requirements, operational
guidelines and protection
- Provide database expertise to the software development team in the
design, development and maintenance of the core database.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal management to help drive
implementation of data migration with the mapping of data used in custom
web metric reporting tools and dashboards 5+ years in a Oracle database
administration and/or application development role
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline,
or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work
experience
Requires 5-8 years of related experience in the design, maintenance, and
administration of relational databases.

Skills required in areas of Oracle Database Servers 10g and 11g and
technologies such as ASM, RAC, OEM, ACFS, Partitioning and so on.
Should have experience in Backup and Recovery, Performance Tuning, Shell
scripting, Replication and Daily Management

Other software the applicant should be familiar with include, Microsoft
Office Suite (Word, Access, and Excel), Shareplex, Toad
Excellent project management skills and written and verbal communication
skills.
Knowledge of MySQL Database Server will be an added bonus.
