Here is the specific information about the role and what we are looking for: Key Roles & Responsibilities - Collaborate with Business Analysts and Data Analysts to understand business and data requirements - Collaborate with owners of data sources / repositories for detailed understanding of relevant data model and flows - Collaborate with AML Analysts to understand AML Risk Assessment model and related data requirement - Develop SQL queries to extract, integrate, validate, and aggregate data - Perform detailed data profiling of data sources, including data validation and identification and root cause analysis of data quality exceptions - Assist the data integration / ingestion process into AML Risk Model(s) as required - Work with QA lead to review and validate test strategy and test cases for data migration testing, as required Qualifications & Skills - Expert-level skills in retrieving and integrating data from multiple data sources via building of complex SQL queries - In-depth experience in Data Analysis, Data Modeling, Dimensional Modeling and Data Warehouse Concepts - In-depth knowledge of database systems and related languages and tools (e.g. Oracle, DB2, Sybase, SQL Server, Netezza) - Experience with data modeling tools, with knowledge of ETL tools and BI tools a plus - Strong analytical ability and aptitude to derive and translate data designs from business concepts - 8+ years of IT experience - Experience in compliance/AML data mining or fraud analytics in a banking or financial services environment - Money laundering/fraud compliance or risk management experience a plus - Demonstrates professional oral and written communication skills.
