*Role: Business Analyst* *Location: Washington, DC* *Duration: 6+ months* a. *This role has the following emphasis (candidates are to have 10+years solid experience):* *REQUIRED::* • Responsible for analysis and evaluation of user business requirements and new system functionality for development of future state business processes to support new system functionality • This includes interviewing end users to obtain and document the detailed future state business processes. Drives business process re-design and documentation as needed for new technology. Combines understanding of IT and business processes to recommend solutions. • Communication planning and execution experience. • Development of training materials experience • ‘Rollout’ planning experience as it relates to training. • The candidate for this role must be able to also ‘drive’ activities with our Business Partners (who have never done this type of thing before). • Excellent analytical skills • Able to understand the larger context (the big picture) in which their efforts are a part • Outstanding client-interfacing skills. • Able to work independently, with a high level of performance, with minimal direct supervision • Experience running operational leadership activities (e.g. training activities) in partnership with our business partners • Excellent communication skills required (written & oral). • Detail oriented.
