Title: Senior Micro strategy Developer Location : Watertown, MA Start: Nov 3rd, 2014 Duration: 6 months with possible extension *Responsibilities:* • Analyze, design, develop, customize, test, implement and document BI applications • Research, assess, and facilitate enhancements and resolution of incidents • Work out the innovative solutions/workarounds in case out of the box Micro Strategy doesn’t support the requirements • Prototype software components, solutions and incorporate reusable assets into the application design. • Define, document, and implement conceptual designs consisting of data strategy, business processes, application interfaces, and technology solutions. • Define and implement a structure and design framework including applications design; end-user environment; hardware, software and network environment; and methodologies and standards. • Train, coach, and share technical and business knowledge with less experienced staff • High degree of expertise in current web and database technologies and competency to work on the most complex projects. • Micro Strategy schema definition, design, implementation and maintenance. • Perform Performance tuning, testing, troubleshooting and configuration management tasks • Planning, testing and execution of Micro Strategy upgrades • Support, design, build and test Micro Strategy objects, projects, reports, dashboards, cubes and Narrowcast /Distribution Services. *Preferred Background* • Expert knowledge of Micro Strategy SDK (Web Customization SDK (MSTR 9.x), Web/Web-services API, Intelligence Server API and Portal integration )for Micro Strategy Customizations • Solid understanding of data modelling concepts. • Experience with query optimization strategies for building reports. • Advanced SQL skills. • Experience administrating Micro Strategy in Linux environment – optional - • Demonstrable knowledge of Tomcat/Web Logic application servers • Experience in application architecture and design techniques and familiarity with data modelling and relational database techniques. • Experience with Adobe CQ technologies – optional - • Micro Strategy certified is preferred. • Experience with Micro Strategy Business Intelligence Server • Industry experience in Retail, CPG, or Apparel preferred *With Regards,* *Robert | Business Development Manager | Platinum Infosys Inc* *Email: **[email protected] <[email protected]>** | Phone: *214-550-0248* | Fax: *214–260–1160 *Visit us @ **www.platinuminfosys.com <http://www.platinuminfosys.com/>* ------------------------------ Note: Under Bill s.1618 Title III passed by the 105th U.S.Congress this mail cannot be considered spam as long as we include contact information and a remove link for removal from our mailing list.
