*Job Summary:*Backup admin would be responsible for handling the backup and
recovery procedures for the data centers. They should have front ended the
entire coordination activities during the backup and recovery process. They
would be making the plans for backup, maintenance, archiving, and disaster
recovery and execute them. This role also involves daily health checks and
analyzing the root cause to resolve the issues. Report the proceedings to
management and conduct review sessions on the same.

Good communication is mandatory as this role requires interaction with
direct US customers.

*Functions/Responsibilities: *


• Carry out regular checks on the status of servers, storage, and tape
libraries from a hardware and software standpoint.
• Configure, install, and manage data backups for applications and systems.
Conduct audit on backup and submit periodic reports.

• Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, install and perform testing activities on
various computer equipment, peripheral, data communication and computer
network system.
• Coordinates problem analysis of server software and hardware problems,
finding the resolution of server and storage related software problems,
administers security and backup procedures for servers; participates in
software and hardware evaluation.
• Regular maintenance of servers, backup software, and storage tools
through the installation of software upgrades, patches, and hardware
upgrades.
• After hours on-call escalation and support.
• Identifies points of vulnerability and develops disaster avoidance plans.
• Implement templates for standardizing all technical backup and recovery
procedures for all sites.
• Develops appropriate off site data and document repositories to be
utilized if information were to be irretrievable at the IT department due
to a disaster.
• Reviews and standardizes all recovery plans, including process and
procedural standards to address routine, backup, redundancy and recovery
architectures.
• Maintain the integrity of critical systems, applications, and data by
ensuring compliance to IT security procedures and standards, and by
implementing proper controls.
• Upgrades backup infrastructure and improve the backup and recovery
performance using latest applicable techniques.
• Performs daily health check and maintains desired level of success rate
for the backup jobs.
• Periodically reviews the backup policies and procedures to ensure right
application settings



*Qualification/Skills required:*

·         Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Engineering.

·         Minimum 2 years of experience in Backup management and audit.

·         *Exposure to CentOS 5 & 6 and Ubuntu.*

·         *Experience in Netbackup, CommVaultSimpana 9&10 backup tools*

·         *Exposure to Idera Server Backup 6.0 *

*Job Title:*Patching Engineer



*Job Summary:*This position’s primary responsibility will be the support,
monitoring, and configuration of systems and processes related to patch
management and software deployment.  The individual will ensure all company
software is patched, updated, and deployed in a timely manner.   The
position will also assist with the Selection, Installation, Configuration,
Administration, Support, Tracking, and Maintenance of all enterprise
servers along with their corresponding software, operating systems, and
peripherals. They will coordinate with IT Security to ensure a high level
of security of data contained within the Server Environment.  Responsible
for Patch Management, Software Distribution, Server Operating System
Configurations (including Windows, Linux, VMware, etc)



*Functions/Responsibilities: *

·         Complete ownership for all the patching activities in windows and
Linux servers.

·         Responsible for identifying patches for the application systems.

·         Responsible for patch approval and ownership of all technical
updates including:-

*Job Summary:*Security administrator will be responsible for SIEM. Need to
monitor and maintain the overall system health. He needs to control the
users and permissions. Design and maintain the workflow infrastructure.

*Functions/Responsibilities: *

·         Responsible for installation and configuration the SIEM
(ArcSight) as multi-tenant system including the SIEM Manager, Console and
SmartConnectors

·         Design and maintain SIEM workflow infrastructure

·         Monitor and maintain overall system health of the SIEM and
SmartConnectors

·         Add and maintain SIEM users and permissions

·         Use the Packages and SIEM archive utilities to backup and support
Manager deployments

·         Identify and design use cases that address specific enterprise
needs

·         Evaluate existing SIEM standard content and use cases and adapt
them to meet enterprise goals

·         Develop and test new correlation content and use cases using SIEM
filters, rules, data monitors, active lists, and session lists

with CEH/ CompTIA security certified as well as MCSE/ CCNA/CCSA and ITIL

storage support, technical assistance and troubleshooting support to the
customer. Experience with storage design and tactical implementation of the
storage platforms for Database servers, File servers and virtualized server
farms is essential.
