· Deploy, manage and troubleshoot Hadoop infrastructure
distributions such as Hortonworks, Cloudera, Hortonworks, IBM Big Insights
or MapReduce
· Optimize Hadoop configurations
· Experience on Linux Systems Administration, Networking and
Virtualization systems
· Strong experience in Unix SHELL Scripting
· Experience with HA (High-availability) and Disaster Recovery
implementations in large scale distributed environments
· Experience in cluster connectivity and Kerberos security
· Knowledge on Map Reduce Framework and Hadoop development
frameworks/tools.
· Deep knowledge on YARN and HBASE additionally good to have
experience in HBase replication implementation and strategies
· Manage and resolve issues on a 24X7X365 basis, and as part of a
on-call rotation
· Collect requirements, design and deploy high-availability,
robust, resilient and supportable solutions
· Independently determines method for completion of new projects
· Good to have Core Java experience
· Knowledge of SOA

Hadoop Developer
· Hadoop ecosystem experience (Zookeeper/HBASE/HDFS/Map
Reduce/Hive/Pig/Oozie/Flume) 2+ years
· Strong knowledge of Linux systems (RHEL/CentOS/OEL 5.x) 5+ Years
· Fluent in at least one scripting language
(Shell/Perl/Python/Java/etc.) 3+ Years
· Able to create and develop big data pipeline, including
Pig/MapReduce jobs 2+ years
· Solid troubleshooting abilities and able to work with a team to
fix large production issues 2+ years.
· Java development experience (4+ years)

Hadoop and Workload Mgmnt :
· Deep understanding of HDP Yarn components , workflows ,
incubations such as Tez , SOLR, distributed R and their impact on overall
System
· Deep understanding on HBASE storage needs and resource
optimization
· Correlating SLA’s and Hardware limitations
· Resource and Workload Management and Scheduling
· Capacity planning and forecasting
· Knowledge on Schedulers such as TWS and Oozie
· Charting graphs from various system metrics and capture trends
and outliers
Operations:
· Conversant in HDP framework deep knowledge in Hive, Pig and
Mapreduce
· Troubleshoot and maintain HBASE applications
· Strong Unix shell scripting
· Hands on experience in TWS Scheduling, Control M or Oozie
· Familiar with continuous integration build products such as
Ant, Jenkins and IFR
· Manage and resolve issues on a 24X7X365 basis, and as part of a
on-call rotation
AUDIT - user & data access management
• Security audit, reporting requirements, preparation,
documentation for audits and all administrative functions; New user
requests; Existing user
verification; Data Access control verification; User
Access Management system role creation and maintenance; ACL tie back
• Will setup and confirm all ACL/Data Protections in new Kings
Mountain environment
