Role : QA Tester
Location : Herndon,VA
Duration : 12+ months
Interview : Face to Face after telephonic
* Expertise in a QA role that is 80% Automation and 20% manual
* Expert in designing, implementing and maintaining software test
automation test frameworks/solutions using HP Quick Test Professional.
* Experience with developing and implementing automated testing
standards and guidelines, experience with test data preparation and
Quality Center Test management tool.
* Experience with Business Process Testing (Business Components) using
QTP.
* Develop functional and regression automated test solutions using HP QTP.
* Experience with developing, documenting and implementing complex
multi-program data driven functional/regression test strategies
using QTP is required.
* Expertise in QTP scripting language, and proven ability to read and
code VB scripting.
* Execute automation, manual cases and document the test results in
Quality Center.
* Create and/or update automation test scenarios / cases by analyzing
business requirements or manual test cases .
* Conduct walkthrough of automation test cases & results with
stakeholders.
* Log and report defects in Quality Center.
* Communicate automation testing issues with lead, developers and
management.
Required Skills:
6+ years of experience with Automation
3+ years of experience with Manual testing
3+ years of QTP scripting experience(Developing and creating VBscripts)
3-4 years of experience with Automation Framework Development QTP
Experience with Business Process Testing (Business Components) using
QTP.
Experience with descriptive programming in QTP
Strong knowledge of testing processes and SDLC
Good knowledge of SQL
Ability to multitask in a highly complex, fast paced environment
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desired Skills:
Mortgage experience is a plus
Business Analyst experience is a plus
User acceptance testing experience is a plus
Experience with Requirements Management tool-DOORS is a plus
Professional testing certification is a plus
