within PG &E, we had a candidate that was to start on 12/1 but he couldn’t

*Job Description:*
5 Years’ Experience
Sr. Java Weblogic Portal Developer with expertise in JSR 168 and JSR 286
compliant, portlet design and development using Oracle Weblogic Portal
WLP8.1, 9.2 and 10gR3.
Two to five years of hands-on coding experience taking a set of
requirements, developing a functional/technical specification, coding
portal application, and providing O&M support.
*Skills/Knowledge Required:*
- Solid understanding of web portal framework. Weblogic Portal WLP8.1x
or greater.
- Strong experience with Java/JDK 1.4.x or greater, J2EE (JSP's,
Servlet's, Tag Libraries, JSTL, EJBs, JSF 1.2) and Object-Oriented web
application design, Pageflows, Spring framework, and good understanding of
MVC framework.
- Solid knowledge of JDBC, Scripting, SQL, ANT, JQuery
- Must know Struts 1.1 / 2, including modules, tiles & validation
framework
- Web service experience should include good knowledge of JAX-WS,
JAX-RPC SOAP, XML, XML Schema, DTD SOA, WSDL, and XSL.
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS (Portal’s LAF with skins and
skeletons) in support of Portal application development.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to talk to
non-technical business clients in being able to clarify functional
requirements.

* Research and prepare system time/cost estimates.

and comparing to what is needed.
* Responsible for system setup and ongoing administration.

*Job Description: *The JEE Developer/Analyst designs, develops, modifies,
configures, debugs and evaluates application programs for functional
business areas. Programs include interfaces, conversions, and enhancements.
Analyzes existing applications and systems and formulates logic for new
systems, devises logic procedures, logical database design, performs coding
and tests/debugs programs. Assist in the definition, development, and
documentation of deliverables, and specifications on a project-by-project
basis as defined in the IT Methodology, in collaboration with business
analyst and other project team members. Consult with business analyst and
architects to understand, anticipate, and meet current and future business
needs. Modify and configure applications/systems as specified in the
requirements and/or technical design document. Provide on-call support for
production systems and provide timely solutions.
*Roles & Responsibilities*
• Support technical design, development and unit test of JEE
programs (Webservices, and Enterprise Java Beans 3.0)
