• Strong hands on experience in core java, Java/J2EE projects.
• Web technologies - JSP/Servlets, JQuery/HTML5, JavaScript, Ajax, Ant
scripts
• Knowledge in Unix/Linux environments
• Working Experience in Struts/Spring Framework, Microsoft SQL & Oracle
database
• Web services (SOAP/REST), Pojo, SQL, PL/SQL
• Experience in writing java Frameworks and libraries.
• Experience with web services standards and related technologies - XML,
JAXP, JAXB, JAX-WS, AXIS, JERSEY, AJAX, JSON, and SOAP).
• Coding, Unit Testing as per the requirements / design
• Support QA & UAT testing teams during their corresponding test execution
• Design documentation, review with stakeholders and obtain required
signoffs
• Working with cross-functional teams on any given project
• Support Production releases / deploys
• Post Production Warranty Support
*Roles and responsibility*:
• At least 8 years of experience in Java/J2EE development,
Maintenance/Support with at least few years in Retail / ecomm
• Good prior knowledge of Retail business flows, especially ecomm, Data
analysis and DB (MYSQL) knowledge
• Good documentation skills
• Development knowledge using Windows batch jobs, XML, SFTP
• Ability to run meetings - in person / over the phone, with large audience
to elicit requirements
• Knowledge in sharepoint usage to obtain document approvals, etc.
• Understand QA & UAT test cases and interpretation of test results.
Support QA & UAT testing
• Ability to quickly pick up client's ecomm business flows / processes and
document the technical / design knowledge where needed
