Summary: DataStage and PL/SQL Developer.

Participate in and contribute to all phases of systems development,
including technical specification, programming, maintenance, data feeds and
testing while achieving the successful development and implementation of
the project. Own assigned tasks, produce time estimates and detailed
specifications for assigned tasks, and perform complex programming
assignments. Requires moderate direction and possesses solid knowledge of
SDLC.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Participate in all phases of system
development life cycle (define program requirements, code, test, debug, and
document) with moderate guidance, following SDLC processes, application
processes.

1. Develop time estimates for assigned tasks.
2. Prepare technical specifications.
3. Develop code using DataStage or PL/SQL for system integration and unit
testing by following company standards and procedures
4. Develop testing requirements, prepare and document test data for unit
and system testing following company standards and procedures.
5. Possess solid analytical skills to resolve technical problems. Identify
root causes for problems and propose solutions to prevent recurring
problems.
6. Prepare weekly status reports for Project Manager and Technical Lead.

Qualifications:

PL/SQL (Oracle 11g) development experience.
DataStage 8.7 development experience.
Critical thinking and complex problem solving skills.
Solid knowledge of the application development process.
Strong communication skills (verbal/written/listening).
Sense of urgency with strong follow-up skills.
Must be detailed oriented and able to work within a team setting.
Experience in system testing and validation.
Additional areas of knowledge or experience preferred:
Support or development of corporate contracting solutions.
