Responsibilities
This person will perform a full scope of Cisco based Local
Area Network, server engineering, administration, and support in an
environment of Windows and Linux operating systems, Cisco Routers and
Firewalls, VMWare Esx (5.x), Network Appliance and Xenapp/Citrix.
Advanced end user support, managing and building/supporting
Applications and Application servers, maintaining accurate documentation,
maintaining LAN networks, VPN and Citrix
Xenapp solutions.
Assisting with VM Ware upgrade and NetApp upgrades.
Advanced user support, diagnose and resolve problems
related to availability, performance, connectivity, and functionality.
Maintenance, troubleshooting, installation and upgrades of
all network and server related equipment and system software.
Infrastructure project participation - Participate in the
Design, implementation, and management of VMWare and NetApp upgrades.
Monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolution of
infrastructure performance.
Documentation of existing and new systems.
Support and manage firewalls, appliance devices, switches,
routers and firewalls.
Qualifications
HS Diploma and min 5 or more years’ experience required.
Must have strong experience in CISCO Routers and Firewalls,
VMWare Esx experience (5.x) and NetApp.
Cisco UCS nice to have.
Knowledge of Fiber Channel a plus.
Must be good at documentation.
